Nerja Museum

Nerja Museum

The Nerja Museum is located in the heart of the municipality. Specifically in the Plaza España . Next to the Nerja Town Hall, the Tourist Office and the Paseo del Balcón de Europa . This museum offers an impressive collection of archaeological pieces. In addition, it collects in an exceptional way the history of the Cueva de Nerja.

Inside you can see a replica of the Camarín de los Pisciformes. This is how you will discover the cave paintings from the Altas de la Cueva de Nerja Galleries. The characteristics of these paintings are worthy of admiration (even though they are replicated).

Thanks to its recent inauguration, Nerja offers its visitors a museum full of modernity (interactive screens, 360º videos, slide projections, and much more).

The days of free admission are listed below:

  1. Andalusia Day (February 28).
  2. International Museum Day (May 18).
