The Three Wise Men spread illusion and joy to the girls and boys of Nerja and Maro
Nerja, January 5, 2023.-
Their Majesties the Three Kings of the East, Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar, have visited Nerja in the afternoon today distributing candies, gifts and illusion to the girls and boys in a parade, with more than two hundred pages, which toured the streets of the municipality until the Balcón de Europa where the Adoration to the Child Jesus took place, and the performance of the singer from Nerja Antonio Cortés.
The mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, and the Councilor for Popular Traditions, Elena Gálvez, received the Three Wise Men at the Town Hall, handing over the Magic Key that opens all the doors of homes so that Their Majesties can distribute tonight toys and gifts. The Three Wise Men greeted all the boys, girls, young and old from the balcony of the Mayor's Office.
Armijo has thanked all those who have made possible the celebration of this Parade, declared a Festival of Local Tourist Singularity, especially the Association of the Three Wise Men Encarnita Kronox "for their involvement and collaboration with the City Council so that once again we can enjoy of the parade that we were all looking forward to?.
Tomorrow, starting at noon, Their Majesties will visit Maro. They will leave from the Home and Social Center, touring the town center to the Plaza de la Iglesia where they will greet the boys and girls.
