The president of the Provincial Council of Malaga, Francisco Salado, has made an official visit to the Nerja City Council where he held a work meeting that was also attended by councilors and provincial deputies.
Among the topics addressed was that related to the Senda Litoral in Nerja, where so far more than 750,000 euros have been dedicated to this provincial project. Both José Alberto Armijo and Francisco Salado have shown their intention to continue advancing to complete the Senda Litoral to Torrox.
The president of the Provincial Council has highlighted that in the last four years, in the period 2019-2023, the Provincial Council has allocated 11.1 million euros to Nerja, of which 2.8 million have been unconditional funds.
In this sense, he highlighted the importance of this type of action and explained that the provincial institution will enable a line of funds that this time will be conditional on the execution of hydraulic works and actions to optimize the supply network.
For his part, José Alberto Armijo has specified that in the meeting they have held they have reviewed the different actions that the Malaga Provincial Council is promoting in Nerja and has expressly referred to projects such as the municipal library, in the heart of tourism of the municipality, in the process of awarding works. The deadline to submit offers expires on November 23.
