The Plenary approves several motions of a non-resolution nature

In the ordinary plenary session held yesterday at City Hall, various motions from the political groups included in the non-resolving matters section were approved.

The first of these points was related to the motion presented by the mayor, José Alberto Armijo; the first deputy mayor, Francisco Arce, and the spokesperson for the Municipal Group of the Popular Party, Ángela Díaz, in defense of the Spanish Constitution, the equality of Spaniards and respect for the Rule of Law and Democracy. This motion had the support of the councilors of the Municipal Group of the Popular Party, while those of the PSOE and Podemos Izquierda Unida con Nerja voted against.

The proposal of the mayor, José Alberto Armijo; the Councilor for Equality, Daniel Rivas; and the spokespersons of all political groups regarding the ratification of the agreement of the Local Government Board held on December 24 on the adherence to the manifesto agreed upon by the Andalusian provincial councils on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women It had the support of all political groups.

Two motions from the Municipal Group of Podemos Izquierda Unida con Nerja also had the support of all political groups urging the Board to create a working group on the water resources of Nerja and its surroundings, and another for inclusion in the 2024 budget of the economic item ?that completes the payment to Nerja of the municipal contribution made for the construction of the Fire Station.?
