The Plenary Session of the Nerja City Council has approved several motions, within the block of non-resolution matters, in which other administrations are urged to adopt measured measures in terms of mobility, education and housing rental vouchers, on a proposal of the different political groups.
The Popular Group presented a motion, which also had the support of the Municipal Socialist Group, urging the Government of Spain to reinforce the pavement of the A-7, from the old kilometer point 288.7 exit of the Torrox tunnel towards Nerja, to the old kilometer 291.4 access point to Nerja, as well as promoting the implementation of a third lane in the sections of the A-7 that lack it, especially in the section between the El Palo detour and the detour from Vélez-Málaga.
Likewise, the Government of Spain was urged to improve the connection between Malaga and Madrid, as well as to improve and increase maintenance on its railway network, both for the commuter network and for the medium and long distance.
Likewise, a motion from the Municipal Socialist Group on ?the survival of the Andalusian educational model for the first cycle of early childhood education and attention to public education? was debated. This motion consisted of seven points that were voted on separately. Thus, the fifth, sixth and seventh points were approved unanimously. The first had the support of the proposing group and Podemos and Izquierda Unida con Nerja and the abstention of the Popular Group and the second, third and fourth had the favorable votes of PSOE and Podemos and Izquierda Unida con Nerja and the vote was against the Popular Group.
Finally, a motion from the Municipal Group Podemos and Izquierda Unida of Nerja was unanimously tested urging the Andalusian Government ?to adopt the appropriate measures for the resolution and urgent payment of all applications submitted by young people in Andalusia to access the Rental Bonus approved by the Government of Spain.?
