The Councilor for Popular Traditions, Elena Gálvez, informs that today, and until Monday, December 18 at 12:00 p.m., the deadline is open to opt for the two bars that will be installed in the Balcón de Europa with occasion of the celebration of New Year's Eve, next December 31.
The bars will be awarded by lottery on the same day the 18th at 1:00 p.m. in the Plenary Hall of the City Council.
Once the bars have been drawn, they must present the following documentation:
1- Electrical installation authorization document.
2- Civil liability insurance policy and payment receipt.
3- Report issued by the Provincial Collection Board stating that it is up to date with payments to the Local and State Administration.
4- If food is handled, they must strictly comply with current health regulations, and their staff must have the relevant qualifications and/or authorizations, specifically a food handler's card, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 202/2000 of February 11, which establishes the rules relating to food handlers.
5- Responsible declaration that exempts the Hon. Nerja City Council from civil or criminal actions that could arise from non-compliance with current laws and especially from the sale of alcohol to minors under the age permitted by law and the sale of drugs, narcotics and psychotropic substances, which are totally prohibited. by law.
6- Sworn declaration of acceptance of the mandatory standards for the installation, use and exploitation of the bar.
7- For authorization, more documentation than that already explicit in this note may be required, if it is deemed necessary.
8- The bars cannot be subcontracted, and must be operated by the members of the awarding entity.
