The cleaning and clearing work of the Chíllar riverbed begins

The Councilor for the Environment, Javier Rodríguez, has reported the start of the cleaning and clearing work on the Chíllar River.

The intervention has an execution period of ten days, so it is scheduled to end next week, and is being carried out by the company Agabama Sur SL, with a budget of 23,106 euros.

The councilor has indicated that the work is being carried out on the banks of the Chillar River, in the municipality of Nerja, from the mouth to the old quarry, with an approximate length of 3.6 kilometers.

This is a selective clearing and at the end of the work the company must present documentation that certifies compliance with the management of waste from vegetation remains.
