The City Council collaborates with 35,000 euros for the acquisition of a van for the Friendship Workshop

The Nerja City Council has collaborated with 35,000 euros for the acquisition of a van for the Friendship Workshop Association, which has a total price of 55,179 euros.

The van has been presented at the headquarters of the Friendship Workshop by the president of the association, Gloria Matutano, together with the mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo; the director of the institution, Victor Gil; the Councilor for Social Affairs, Daniel Rivas; and the Councilor for the Treasury, Angela Díaz.

The mayor has stated that the adapted vehicle will serve to help the members of the Friendship Workshop travel in the different activities they carry out and in transporting them to their homes.

José Alberto Armijo has indicated that with his contribution to the acquisition of the vehicle, the Nerja City Council maintains its commitment to collaboration with the Taller de la Amistad Association.
