Nerja celebrates a new Table Tennis Tournament

The Councilor for Sports, Daniel Rivas, and the president of the Nerja Table Tennis Sports Club, Manuel Antonio Moreno, have announced this morning the celebration of the II Table Tennis Tournament that will take place on January 29 in the Covered Pavilion of the Sports City.

Daniel Rivas has highlighted that this second tournament will have more than 40 participants, both local and from different parts of Malaga and Andalusia. In this sense, it has celebrated that "this sporting event is consolidated in the calendar of competitions that we celebrate during the year in our municipal sports facilities."

In addition, the Councilor for Sports congratulated the president of the club and its members "for the important achievement of participating in the Table Tennis Federation league with two teams."

For his part, the president of the local sports club, Manuel Antonio Moreno, has detailed that the II Table Tennis Tournament will take place in the morning and afternoon. "First, the non-federated and federated of the province of Malaga will participate and later the Andalusian and Superior categories," he informed, also thanking the Department of Sports for the support so that this tournament can be held in our town.
