The Board of Directors of the Nerja Business Association (AEN) has held a working meeting at the Town Hall with the mayor and councilors of the Government Group. Among the issues addressed were urban planning and specifically the processing of licenses, which has improved, according to the businessmen. In this sense, the Councilor for Urban Planning, José Alberto Tomé, has indicated that work will continue along this line. Another of the issues discussed was that of VPO housing for young people promoted by the City Council, an initiative that has been valued very positively by the AEN, indicated José Alberto Tomé. In relation to this matter, the businessmen offered their collaboration and experience to the City Council.
The Tourism Sustainability Plans in Destination, which counted on the contribution of businessmen for their preparation, were also discussed at the meeting. José Alberto Tomé has indicated that the possibility of holding a monographic meeting on this topic was put on the table.
The reuse of treated water from the WWTP, for agricultural and municipal use, was also discussed at the meeting, as were other projects, such as the collectors of the Álamos Street urbanization, the Horizonte Street urbanization or the stabilization of the slope from Burriana. To address these and other issues, the City Council and the AEN will hold new meetings in the future.
