The Nerja City Council has adopted the agreement, in the Local Government Board, to approve the urbanization project for Horizonte Street, perpendicular to Castilla Pérez, according to the motion presented by the mayor, José Alberto Armijo, and the Councilor for Infrastructure, José Alberto Tomé, and which has a two-month execution period.
The project aims to follow, in general terms, the design guidelines applied to urbanized roads in areas with restricted road circulation, such as Calle Diputación or El Barrio.
The existing pavement will be completely demolished and the entire infrastructure in terms of supply, telecommunications and lighting will be renewed. Likewise, access to the garage of the Horizonte building will be ordered. In the pedestrian part, the project includes paving stones.
The mayor has indicated that, with this action, the demands of the neighbors are met and the project will involve the total renovation of the street, both in its aesthetic aspect and in regard to the existing infrastructure.
