Filming of the movie ?Wallbanger? ends, which has numerous scenes filmed in Nerja

The North American director Tosca Musk has announced on her social networks that she has completed the filming of her film ?Wallbanger? in San Francisco, which has numerous scenes that were filmed in Nerja in the middle of last November.

The film, which will be released next year, is based on the novel of the same title written by Alice Clayton, and which in Spain has been titled ?The Seducer.? While waiting to see how Nerja will appear in the film, in the novel Nerja is present in several chapters since the main characters, Caroline and Simon, go to the town to spend a few days on vacation. For example, Caroline says that ?the coastline curved towards the town of Nerja, where the lights began to shine as dusk fell on the beach.? Later she assures that ?I immediately fell in love with the town? to which she was ?hooked.?

Caroline praises the tapas she eats on one of her bar outings in Nerja, describing them as ?small pork meatballs, slices of ham, marinated mushrooms, beautiful cured meats and grilled squid with fruity local olive oil. With every bite, I was sure I had just eaten the best thing in the world.?

In another chapter she describes what luxury means to her, stating that it is ?time alone to stroll through the small family shops of Nerja. Luxury meant exploring the nearby caves with Simon while he took photographs, getting lost in the colors beneath the earth.?

In addition to the Tosca Musk film, other series and films have made reference to Nerja. For example, Aguilar de Nerja was the name of the protagonist character played by actor Michael Fassbender in ?Assassin's Creed?, the film adaptation of the video game series of the same name, which premiered in 2016.

Likewise, in the sixth season of the North American series ?Bones?, one of the protagonists made reference to Nerja and its beaches.
