The Nerja City Council, through the Department of Equality, has organized an Urban Camp during the Christmas holiday period, configuring itself as a solution for those fathers and mothers who work or legal guardians who cannot combine their professional commitments with the school holidays of their daughters and sons, as reported by councilor Daniel Rivas.
From December 26 to 29, 2023 and from January 2 to 5, 2024, boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 16 in the municipality will be able to enjoy the Urban Camp for Equality that will take place at the San Miguel School .
The Camp will take place in the morning, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., where workshops, recreational-educational and free-time activities will be held, promoting values of equality, coexistence, mutual respect, cooperation and teamwork.
The camp is free and places are limited to a total of 180.
This Urban Camp is being organized by the Department of Equality and is the result of an agreement signed with the Department of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality of the Government of Andalusia.
Registration will remain open at the Municipal Women's Information Center located at Calle Almirante Ferrándiz, No. 12, from December 11 to 21 (both inclusive). Registration will be carried out in the order of delivery of the registration form.
