The Local Government Board has adopted the agreement to award the works contract for the stabilization project of the Burriana slope, north road section 1, to the UTE Talud de Nerja in the amount of 729,630 euros, as reported by the Councilor for Infrastructure José Alberto Tomé. This joint venture is made up of the companies Mantenimiento de Estaciones SL and Asistencia Técnica de Comunicación de Redes Ferroviarias SL, and they committed to creating a temporary union of companies if they were awarded the project, as finally happened when presenting the offer that obtained the best score. adopting the aforementioned name of UTE Talud de Nerja. The work will be carried out between Philippine Street and the landscaped access from Capistrano, over a length of 150 meters, and the completion period will be four months. The project contemplates the necessary actions for the stabilization of said slope, such as double braided mesh protections, wiring, reinforcements with a cable network, placement of breakwaters, retaining wall and drainage. The project has all the favorable reports from the different municipal services.
