A nice couple who already have Nerja as an eternal witness to their love story.
The bride and groom, and the guests, have posed for posterity in the Balcón de Europa, and the Councilor for Tourism, Ana María Muñoz, has had the opportunity to congratulate them and encourage them to continue visiting the municipality in the future.
Ana María Muñoz has highlighted that Nerja is one of the most requested municipalities in the province to get married by citizens of other countries. From January to today, 91 weddings have been celebrated in Nerja, both religious and civil, according to data provided by the Nerja Civil Registry. Of these 91 relationships, in 51 of them the spouses have been Spanish and in 40, foreigners.
Among foreign weddings and by nationality, those who lead the list have no rival, since they are Irish Catholics, with a total of 21 weddings, which are usually celebrated in the church of El Salvador and Las Maravillas de Maro.
