The Nerja City Council and the College of Veterinarians of Málaga will sign a collaboration agreement, as agreed at the Local Government Board held yesterday. The Councilor for Public Health, Javier Rodríguez, has reported that this agreement will serve to launch the Municipal Registry of Pet Animals, which will be created and managed by the College of Veterinarians of Malaga, which will be in charge of the computer processing of the data that are incorporated into said registry.
Likewise, a census of potentially dangerous dogs and other animals that are legally classified as such will be created.
The agreement also establishes that the College of Veterinarians of Malaga will undertake the training of municipal officials for the application and development of the registry and will make six microchip readers available to the City Council for the Local Police.
