Molino de Papel Beach

Molino de Papel Beach

This beach gets its name from the presence of ruins of an old tub paper factory. This factory was popularly known among the locals as the Mill Mill Factory. For this reason, this wonderful virgin cove is called Molino de Papel .

It is a dark sand beach 400 meters long and 15 meters wide. Moderate swell.

Its location is very unique. The popular Río de la Miel and Arroyo de los Colmenarejos flow into it. In fact, in the sand you will find natural pools. Diving into one of these pools to watch the sunset is an unforgettable experience.

This beach has a special wild charm. Surrounded by mountains, vegetation and rocks. This lush landscape makes it a really reserved place. The enjoyment of tranquility and privacy is assured at the Molino de Papel Beach. It is a little frequented place even in high season.

Its access by road is very simple compared to the rest of the beaches of Maro. We take a detour to the right that we find about 300 meters away from kilometer 298 of the N-340. We access an easy to identify slope because we will see that it is very steep. This leads us to the old road that will lead to the surroundings of the structure of the Paper Mill. This is when we turn to the right to descend to the beach. It should be noted that from the N-340 to the beach there is less a kilometer away.

Among all the beaches on the Nerja coast, this could be considered the most unspoilt . Therefore, it does not have any type of service. We recommend you gather all the necessary preparations to go to a beach of these characteristics. We always recommend the use of sports shoes.
