Carabeillo Beach

Carabeillo Beach

Carabeillo beach has a unique charm. Nature and the old town of the town can be seen from this beach. While you enjoy the Sun you can contemplate the vegetation and the cliffs that surround the cove. This makes it one of the most special coves in Nerja.

Carabeillo beach is 70 meters long and 10 meters wide. Its sand is dark and has pebbles.

It should be noted that the cove has a structure of steps located on a huge stone. From it the sunrises and sunsets are incredibly beautiful. Without forgetting that the views of the sea and the mountains are also magnificent. This structure is one of the old entrances to the Paseo de Los Carabineros. This spectacular walk is currently under reconstruction. When it was possible to access it, we could walk from Burriana beach to Calahonda beach (located under the Balcón de Europa). The Paseo de Los Carabineros was the perfect way to discover the hidden coves that Nerja has. Its opening is expected in the coming years. Without a doubt, it is one of the most incredible attractions of Nerja.

Carabeillo beach is a small cove that has access from the Mirador del Bendito located on the famous Carabeo street. There are two ways to access the cove. One of them through a staircase that borders the mountain that surrounds the cove. On the other hand, it is possible to access it on foot from Burriana beach. You can enjoy all the amenities that Burriana Beach offers (water activities, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors ...) because both beaches are very close.

Carabeillo beach is also very close to the center of Nerja. The most beautiful way to get to this beach is by walking along Calle de Carabeo from the Balcón de Europa. To end Mirador del Bendito. From which you can see the sea in front and the mountain behind you. This walk of only 10 minutes is really nice.

The outstanding services of this beach are the public parking (Parking Carabeo) and the shops, bars and restaurants on Calle Carabeo. Both just minutes from the beach. In addition, it has all the basic services (showers, toilets and the presence of lifeguards).

Carabeillo beach has apparently hidden areas of sand and rocks that should undoubtedly receive your attention. An ideal plan for the summer can be to enjoy the tranquility that characterizes Carabeillo beach. It can be considered one of the most reserved coves in Nerja. In fact, it receives few visitors.
